Energy Solutions

End-to-end solutions are our speciality.

Services

Community Power is a company that helps overcome the problems of high energy prices. We do this through several technologies, such as Energy from Waste, Solar, and Combined Heat Power as a service. Our mission is to provide sustainable solutions that help industries grow.

Waste 2 Energy

Community Power is a social enterprise that turns waste into electricity. We believe that everyone has the right to access clean and affordable energy. Our mission is to produce electricity cheaper than fossil fuels.

High Temperature Incineration

In the United Kingdom the capacity for high-temperature incineration has been a cause of concern due to the complex and often controversial nature of such operations. High-temperature incineration requires careful management of hazardous materials in order to ensure that health, safety, and environmental regulations are adhered to at all times.

CHP as a Service

Combined Heat and Power (CHP) as a service is becoming a popular option for businesses in the UK to reduce their carbon emissions while increasing efficiency and reliability. CHP uses fuel to generate electricity and heat simultaneously, making it an ideal solution for businesses that require both electrical power and heating.

Solar Flex Solutions

Solar solutions for businesses and solar farms have become increasingly popular in recent years due to the numerous benefits they provide. They offer a reliable, cost-effective, and sustainable alternative to traditional power sources and are ideal for businesses that strive to reduce their environmental impact.

Biofuel Generation as a Service

Our biofuel of choice is a standardised Fatty Acid Methyl Ester (FAME) utilising waste oil of biological origin. The sources include used cooking oil or fish oil and once processed results in a consistent, diesel-like fuel with low sulphur content and a high cetane rating.

The fuel is approximately 95% carbon free once processing and transport is considered, as such it fully supports moves towards Net Zero in a more credible way than “greenwashed” products being offered by the major energy suppliers.

Biofuel Generation as a Service

Fatty Acid Methyl Ester (FAME) is an alternative fuel source that can be used to generate biofuel. FAME is derived from vegetable oils, animal fats, and other natural sources, making it a renewable energy source with the potential to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions. It is an environmentally friendly fuel that has been proven to have low levels of sulfur and other pollutants when compared to traditional diesel fuels.

Using FAME as a biofuel has multiple advantages. Firstly, it is much cheaper than traditional diesel fuel, making it an attractive option for businesses looking to reduce costs associated with their energy needs. Additionally, due to its renewable nature, FAME does not contribute to the depletion of limited fossil fuel reserves; instead it uses waste fats and oils and turns them into useful fuels.

Furthermore, FAME-based biofuels are higher in Cetane number than traditional diesel fuels, meaning they have better cold start properties and improved combustion efficiency. This type of fuel also has reduced engine wear due to lower amounts of soot being produced during the burning process which can lead to increased engine life as well as improved overall performance.

On top of these benefits, using FAME for biofuel generation can be done through a service model that offers high quality assurance and cost savings through economies of scale. Through this model businesses would gain access to reliable sources of biodiesel while having access to ready-made infrastructure such as storage tanks and fueling systems already in place at the partner's location. In addition, by utilizing a third party provider for biodiesel generation services companies can save on administrative overhead costs associated with managing the production process themselves.

Overall using Fatty Acid Methyl Ester (FAME) for biofuel generation through a service model offers numerous advantages for businesses looking for affordable renewable energy sources without sacrificing quality or reliability. Not only does this type of fuel provide tangible environmental benefits but also it could potentially provide significant cost savings over traditional diesel fuel options while simultaneously providing better performance and engine life expectancy as well.
